Motivated by God's call and their love for their fellowmen, the Congregation of Dominican Sisters of Siena in the Philippines,
together with their friends and benefactors established St. Martin's Foundation to give help and hope to those whose lives
are affected by poverty in a variety of ways.
Our Programs
St. Martin’s Foundation conducts twice-monthly medical missions to medically- underserved barangays all over the Philippines.
During each of these missions, the mobile clinic team serves an average of 800-1,000 patients who avail themselves of free
medical consultation, tooth extraction, minor surgery, diagnostic tests such as X-ray and ECG, and free medicines.
St.
Martin Scholarship Program awards scholarship grants to more than 1,500 poor but deserving students to grade school and high
school students enrolled in public and private schools in the Philippines. Special grants are also given to qualified college
students. Scholars are given subsidy for tuition and other school fees, uniforms and school supplies.
The foundation
also provides timely and appropriate assistance to victims of man-made and natural disasters. Assistance come in the form
of food, clothing, medicine and medical supplies and services, all of which are geared towards the early recovery and development
of its recipients.
